Our history
The history of "Vita Med" medical center begins in 2018, when our founder-director V. Manukyan decided in Artsakh and realized within 6 months the first private, evidence-based medicine data-based, patient-centered "Vitamed Plus" medical center in Artsakh, spread over an area of only 100 square meters, licensed with 6 types of activity, which in a short time created a good reputation and became a research center for the people of Artsakh. an alternative to traveling to Yerevan for implementation and treatment.
In 2018, from the beginning of the project, V. Manukyan hired doctor-laboratorian Anush Verdyan, thanks to whose greatest contribution, the laboratory service of "Vitamed Plus" medical center was established. In 2019, V. Manukyan and A. Verdyan got married and the idea of establishing a chain of "Vita Med" medical centers in Armenia came from combining their dreams.
In 2021, the steps to implement the idea began, and already on June 11, 2022, the first Yerevan branch was opened at 3/6 Beknazaryan Street in the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan with a license for 19 types of activities, in an area of 276 square meters. Already in August, the first regional branch was opened in the city of Stepanavan, which was unique in the Stepanavan community in terms of its organizational and legal form, type and quality of services.
