Description
Established and maintained 3 laparoscopic surgery services, which made a great contribution in development of laparoscopic services in Armenia.
Apart from common laparoscopic surgeries, such as appendectomy and cholecystectomy, other surgeries have been added and implemented (rehabilitation surgeries of extrahepatic biliary tracts, laparoscopic echinococectomy, adrenalectomy, laparoscopic surgery of gullet achalasia regarding diaphragmatic hernia).
Adamyan A.I. has implemented for the first time in Armenia:
- Laparoscopic right-hand hemicolectomy /right-hand colon resection/
- Laparoscopic rectum extirpation (resection)
- Laparoscopic Billroth’s I distal gastrectomy
- Subtotal Billroth’s II resection with II Roux-en-Y reconstruction,
- laparoscopic gastric wedge resection/
- laparoscopic pancreas surgeries
- laparoscopic splenectomy
- laparoscopic intraperitoneal onlay mesh (IPOM) technique for the repair of incisional and parastomal hernias/
