The average phone carries approximately 25,000 germs, officially making it one of the dirtiest things you’re likely to touch on a daily basis. That’s 10 times the number of germs of a toilet! For comparison, cell phones are even filthier than pet food dishes and doorknobs. Why are phones so germy? The main reason is that we typically don’t think to clean our electronic devices. Similarly, most people don’t wipe off their remote controls or their keyboards (which, by the way, are an average of five times dirtier than a toilet!) . Fortunately, there’s a simple solution is simple. You can de-yuck-ify your cell by routinely wiping it down with an antibacterial substance to kill the germs.
