1960-He graduated from high school of Sulda with gold medal

1960-Еntered the Medical Faculty of Yerevan State Medical University and in 1967 graduated with diploma of honours.

1971-Clinical residency in Scientific Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Medical practice
1967- Worked as head of the polyclinic, obstetritian-gynecologyst in Vedi. .

1973- Worked at Scientific Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an obstetrician-gynecologist.

1975- He defended his doctoral dissertation.

1975-Worked at Republic Clinical Hospital as the head of operative gynecological department. .

1988-Was appointed the heat doctor of the Republican Clinicaal Maternity Home.

1990-He headed the chair of YSMI after M.Heratsi. .

1992-He defended his doctoral dissertation and get professor degree. .

1993-Was appointed the head of renamed Center for Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ministry of Health of RA.

1997 -Was appointed the chief obstetrician-gynecologist of MH RA, substantiated the association of obstetricians and gynecologists elected as chairman of the association
2000 -Was awarded with "Gold Medal" of Yerevan State Medical University

2002 - Was appointed the adviser to the Minister on obstetric aid

2002 -Was awarded with the prize of "XXI century of European Union" project

2002 -Was awarded with Order after M.Heratsi and "Maltese cross" Medal

2002- Was awarded with diploma of RA government

2004 -Was awarded with Medal and Prize of the President of RA.

He also has many other medals.
Scientific works
Is the author of 415 articles and publications, 4 textbooks, 8 monographs, 6 discoveries and 15 of innovative proposals, head of 9 doctoral and 21 master's theses.
Marital status
Married, has three daughters and five grandchildren.
